BEEVUE HIVESCOPE

Get your beevue hivescope

See what’s happening — without opening the hive

Most hive inspections rely on brief moments of disruption: smoke, lifting frames, and exposure to the elements. Designed for minimally invasive inspection, the BeeVue HiveScope allows you to observe brood, stores, and behaviour at the bees’ level — while the colony continues its day as usual.

Designed for calm inspection

The BeeVue HiveScope is a slim, dual-camera inspection tool that moves through the hive without frame removal or smoke. Its small diameter allows it to pass safely between comb faces, respecting bee space and minimising disturbance.

The result is calmer bees, longer observation time, and clearer insight — especially when conditions make conventional inspections difficult or undesirable.

Two perspectives, one pass

A forward-facing camera provides clear navigation through the hive, revealing bee space, comb surfaces, and the internal condition of hive boxes.

A side-facing camera looks directly into the comb, allowing you to observe eggs, larvae, pollen, stores, and laying pattern.

Together, they enable safe navigation and meaningful observation in a single pass.

Built for repeatable observation

Depth markers along the HiveScope allow you to return to the same regions of comb across inspections. When paired with the BeeVue Interface’s reference system, this enables meaningful comparison over time — not just one-off impressions.

Subtle changes become visible when you can reliably revisit the same place.

Clear imaging, real conditions

High-resolution imaging and controlled illumination are tuned for the low-light, high-contrast environment inside the hive. Fine details — from freshly laid eggs to subtle larval movement — are rendered clearly without excessive disturbance.

This is observation designed for the hive as it is, not as it looks once opened.

Built for the apiary, not the lab

The HiveScope is robust and designed to withstand real-world use around bees, wax, and propolis. It connects directly to a 5-inch screen with recording capability, making it easy to capture footage in the field and review it later at home.

No setup rituals. Just inspect and observe.

A system built around the bees

The HiveScope is designed to work hand-in-hand with the BeeVue Interface.

Together, they form a system for year-round, low-stress hive observation — shifting inspection from intervention to understanding.
